About Sam
Sam’s practice is mainly focused on corporate and commercial matters and transactional work. He has extensive legal experience in handling cross-border mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, corporate restructuring and private equity transactions. He also regularly advises on fintech regulations, regulatory compliance, corporate governance, employment law, data protection and privacy law.
Sam has represented listed companies, multinational corporations, state-owned enterprises, financial institutions, tech giants, private equity funds and start-ups across different industry sectors in numerous sizeable transactions.
The awards and accolades Sam has received include:

- recognised as “ALB Hong Kong Rising Stars 2024” by Asian Legal Business (ALB)

Sam is the co-contributor of the Hong Kong Chapter of the Chambers Global Practice Guides: Equity Finance 2024 on the key trends and developments of the Hong Kong capital markets. His articles on other legal topics have also been regularly published on the China Business Law Journal.
