About Danni
Danni is qualified to practice law in PRC. Prior to joining East & Concord Partners, Danni held a distinguished career spanning eight years within an international organisation, a prestigious “Magic Circle” international law firm, and leading Chinese law firms. Her practice encompasses a wide range of areas, including domestic and cross-border equity investment and financing, employee stock ownership plans, mergers and acquisitions, general corporate governance, environmental, social, and governance, and dispute resolution. She has provided legal services to a diverse clientele, including start-ups, investment funds, multinational corporations, public companies, state-owned enterprises, non-governmental organisations, and international organisations operating in various sectors such as finance, technology, media and entertainment, consumer goods, life sciences, carbon neutrality, food and beverages, education, culture and media, architectural engineering, and social innovation. In addition, she holds professional certificates on funds and securities in Mainland China.
Danni currently serves as the Editor-in-Chief of East & Concord Partners’ monthly newsletter titled “GoGlobal Watch” and was recognised as a member of Guangdong Lawyers Engaged in International Practices’ Cutting-edge Talent Pool. Additionally, she co-authored the “Impact Terms Guide” (available on Toniic’s website) and was awarded the 2021 Social Enterprise Youth U35 and the 2023 ESG Pioneer Award. Furthermore, she held the position of Editor-in-Chief for a best-selling book titled “Tomorrow of Law Students: 16+N Career Possibilities” published by Peking University Press.
Danni is presently a Vice President of Harvard Club of South China, Shenzhen President of Alumnae-i Network for Harvard Women, Director of Guangdong Western Returned Scholars Association Youth Branch, Shenzhen Entrepreneurship Mentor, Mediator of Shenzhen Futian Hetao International Commercial Mediation Center, and the Founder of DEEP Career Legal Scholarship.
