Our law firm is committed to protecting your privacy in accordance with the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (Chapter 486 of the Laws of Hong Kong) (the “PDPO”).

About our Website


The data on our Website as well as any emails and communications with us are hosted and processed in our information technology (“IT”) systems and/or servers, and such data may be hosted, transferred and/or processed outside Hong Kong. By using our Website and/or by communicating with us, you consent to the hosting, transfer and/or processing of any personal data about you as may be collected from you in our IT systems and/or servers, which may be in or outside Hong Kong.

If you are a job applicant applying for a position at our law firm, your personal data collected by us may be used for the following purposes:


  • assessment of your application, including deciding whether to invite you for an interview, your suitability for a vacancy within our law firm, and negotiating with and making offers of employment to selected applicants;
  • conducting background checks; and/or
  • obtaining reference and/or other information from third parties about you.


Your failure to provide your personal data to us would render it impossible for us to process your job application. We will retain your personal data only for so long as is necessary for fulfilling the purpose(s) for which they were collected. After that time, your personal data will be erased.

You are legally entitled to check whether we hold any personal data about you and request access to such personal data. If such data are incorrect or inaccurate, you have the right to correct or update them.
